On June 16-17, 2017 Road Doctor College Seminar started in Nanjing. Over 200 representatives, experts, scholars and technical staff of the industry from all over the country attended the event.

The seminar was sponsored by Freetech Road Doctor College, Jiangsu Road Association, and Road Engineering Materials Recycling Branch of China Association of Circular Economy, with the support from the College of Transportation Engineering of Tongji University and Southeast University.

Gathering of Industry Representatives and Experts

The first Road Doctor Seminar’s theme was "Green Road: sharing innovation and development". In these two days, seven experts delivered speech and there was a large high-end panel discussion, which was really inspirative.

Sun Guoqing, the former director of Integrated Planning Department of Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China spoke from the perspective of macro-strategy to analyze the causes and consequences of the relevant policies on transportation. Tsinghua University’s Professor Liu Guanzhong, the father of China's industrial design, talked about the trend of "green industrial design". Professor Zhang Zujiang and Sun Lijun delivered wonderful speech on pavement evaluation and conservation as well.

Professor of PLA Nanjing Army Command College, Colonel Zhang Zhengwen's lecture on "China's security strategy situation" was so attractive that it won bursts of applause.

Vice President of Freetech, Zhang Yifu and Chen Qijing talked about "Durable Green Road Maintenance Technology" and "Vision in International Road Maintenance Equipment", respectively. They brought the latest technical ideas to the audience.

The interview was hosted by the CEO of Freetech , Mr. Shi Weibin. Professor Tang Xuejun from Southeast University, Chairman of Jiangsu Road Association; Qian Guochao, former Director of Integrated Planning Department of Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China; Sun Guoqing, Vice Chief Engineer of Jiangsu Communications Holding Co., Wu Zanping and many other authoritative experts were invited for the discussion.

Experts and guests interacted enthusiastically on the topic Environmental Protection in Road Maintenance, which inspired the audience further thinking about the topic.

Guests were all optimistic on the development of pavement recycling technology. It was generally acknowledged that Freetech’s Hot-In-Place Recycling Technology plays an important role in road maintenance.

Freetech：Market Leader on Green Road Maintenance

The Road Doctor College was founded in January 2014 by Freetech. This is the first enterprise-founded college in the domestic road maintenance industry. It is rarely for an enterprise to set up a college for training. Freetech really makes a huge contribution on the education of road repair industry.

In the future, workshops, MBA master’s degree courses in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, PPP courses of the United Nations European Economic Commission, and Master's Degree program in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University will become a part of curriculum in the Road Doctor College.
